Even if I buy nvidia card for a new motherboard for xgamma(1) to = work with nv (because xgamma doesn't work with vesa), why would I prefer UEFI? Text editor is the most important tool for me. You want to force me to break all my habits just because of your whim. And to break my filesystem with ic= onv a binary file by mistake.
