I used to be using the Marvell myk driver for my wired ethernet. This driver worked fine. I'm now using the built-in msk driver, but this driver causes the interface to report a constant stream of input errors. There are no dmesg errors. However, network performance is dramatically impacted. To the best of my knowledge, nothing has changed on the switch side. I am currently running: FreeBSD gyros.marcuscom.com 7.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 7.0-CURRENT #34: Fri Feb 9 04:46:10 EST 2007 marcus@gyros.marcuscom.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GYROS i386 I have a: mskc0: port 0x2000-0x20ff mem 0x98200000-0x98203fff irq 16 at device 0.0 on pci2 msk0: on mskc0 msk0: Ethernet address: 00:16:cb:92:bc:ad miibus0: on msk0 e1000phy0: PHY 0 on miibus0 e1000phy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, 1000baseTX-FDX, auto mskc0: [FAST] msk0: flags=8843 mtu 1500 options=19a inet6 fe80::216:cbff:fe92:bcad%msk0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1 inet x.x.x.x netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 255.255.255.255 ether 00:16:cb:92:bc:ad media: Ethernet autoselect (1000baseTX ) status: active mskc0@pci2:0:0: class=0x020000 card=0x532111ab chip=0x436211ab rev=0x22 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'Marvell Semiconductor (Was: Galileo Technology Ltd)' device = 'Yukon 88E8053 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (Copper)' class = network subclass = ethernet Any suggestions?
