I have finally got ppp going but i seem to have a problem. When I create
too much traffic across the modem link packets stop arriving even though
the modem doesn't hang up. If I hang up the modem and recconnect I can't
use the same ip number for either want or will that I used last time.
When I reconnect, it either hangs up immediatly after negotiation, or
connects fine but doesn't send any packets. If i reconnect with
different ip numbers for want and will, everything works as it did before.

note: I am dialing in to the bsd box which is running FreeBSD 2.1 and ijPPP.

Thanks for any help,
Charlie
