Did not work. kldstat showed it was loaded, but mixer showed nothing. Note: this is an AWE64 ISA card - I did mention that didn't I? I also tried at least once all the links you could think of, old and new. This is not going to work. If only I could have the pnp of mandrake and the speed and stability of FreeBsd I'd be a happy puppy. But, This is not going to work, I'm not going to get sound, the choice is buy the latest Fbsd disks I can get and try, or go for another OS.
