This is > how Mac OSX deals with it as well. I think that's the worst suggestion so far :-( I have a patch set for installing all man pages and links correctly in /usr/share/openssl/man. I'm waiting for a last couple of comments from ru and markm, but otherwise I expect to commit it in a day or two. This issue is holding up progress with MFCing OpenSSL 0.9.7 to -STABLE.
