I find that when I boot the FreeBSD machine, the FDDI link does not come up(link not available), it is not until I issue the following commands: ifconfig fpa0 down ifconfig fpa0 up that the FDDI link comes up. Is this a known problem ? If not, can I provide any more info. to you. Dave
