Unfortunately, while the device is detected and playback works, recording does not. (It always records silence.) The device is detected as shown below: ugen1.5: at usbus1 uaudio0: on usbus1 uaudio0: Play: 44100 Hz, 2 ch, 24-bit S-LE PCM format. uaudio0: Record: 44100 Hz, 2 ch, 16-bit S-LE PCM format. uaudio0: No midi sequencer. pcm6: on uaudio0 uhid0: on usbus1 (Curiously, this device does record correctly on my laptop with FreeBSD 7.2.) Is there a particular USB audio device which is known to work correctly both for playback and record on FreeBSD 9.x? Any recommendations would be appreciated. -Bill -- ============================================================================= -Bill Paul (510) 749-2329 | Senior Member of Technical Staff, wpaul@windriver.com | Master of Unix-Fu - Wind River Systems ============================================================================= "I put a dollar in a change machine.
