Thanks for fixing this. Attached is another short patch which fixes a spelling bug in pkg-install and adds a line to pkg-plist to forcestop gnugk on systems where the rcNG script is installed without the .sh filename extension. I found the rcNG problem yesterday when i was working on an update to sysutils/nut*. The rcNG script itself is correctly added to TMPPLIST but there is no way to get the filename (gnugk or gnugk.sh) from bsd.port.mk without doubling the effort and to do the same check, as in bsd.port.mk, in the ports Makefile again. I think this needs some twaeking to provide an easy way for porters to run an rcNG script forcestop when the port gets deinstalled. regards Joerg - -- The beginning is the most important part of the work. -Plato -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.1 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFEKPKUSPOsGF+KA+MRAtdeAJ9yRd2zZuZkEh0jC9Gt404r4eloowCgp6f6 JHzla3ZiiY38XJ3V7Dn18t0= =IGVp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --0-941045622-1143534226=:54268 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII; name=gatekeeper.diff Content-Transfer-Encoding: BASE64 Content-ID: <20060328102346.F54268@hades.admin.frm2> Content-Description: Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=gatekeeper.diff SW5kZXg6IHBrZy1pbnN0YWxsDQo9PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09 PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09DQpS Q1MgZmlsZTogL2hvbWUvbmN2cy9wb3J0cy9uZXQvZ2F0ZWtlZXBlci9wa2ct aW5zdGFsbCx2DQpyZXRyaWV2aW5nIHJldmlzaW9uIDEuMg0KZGlmZiAtdSAt cjEuMiBwa2ctaW5zdGFsbA0KLS0tIHBrZy1pbnN0YWxsCTI2IE1hciAyMDA2 IDE1OjM1OjIwIC0wMDAwCTEuMg0KKysrIHBrZy1pbnN0YWxsCTI4IE1hciAy MDA2IDA4OjA3OjEyIC0wMDAwDQpAQCAtNzYsNyArNzYsNyBAQA0KIAllY2hv ICIgICAgICAgTW9yZSBleGFtcGxlIGNvbmZpZ3VyYXRpb25zIGNhbiBiZSBm b3VuZCBpbiINCiAJZWNobyAiICAgICAgICR7UEtHX1BSRUZJWH0vc2hhcmUv ZXhhbXBsZXMvb3BlbmgzMjMvZ2F0ZWtlZXBlci4iDQogCWVjaG8gIiINCi0J ZWNobyAiICAgICBvIERvY3VtYW50YXRpb24gY2FuIGJlIGZvdW5kIGluIg0K KwllY2hvICIgICAgIG8gRG9jdW1lbnRhdGlvbiBjYW4gYmUgZm91bmQgaW4i DQogCWVjaG8gIiAgICAgICAke1BLR19QUkVGSVh9L3NoYXJlL2RvYy9vcGVu aDMyMy9nYXRla2VlcGVyLiINCiAJZWNobyAiIg0KIAllY2hvICIgICAgIG8g QSBsb2cgZGlyZWN0b3J5IGhhcyBiZWVuIGNyZWF0ZWQgaW4gJHtnbnVna19s b2dkaXJ9LiINCkluZGV4OiBwa2ctcGxpc3QNCj09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09 PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09PT09 PT09PT0NClJDUyBmaWxlOiAvaG9tZS9uY3ZzL3BvcnRzL25ldC9nYXRla2Vl cGVyL3BrZy1wbGlzdCx2DQpyZXRyaWV2aW5nIHJldmlzaW9uIDEuNQ0KZGlm ZiAtdSAtcjEuNSBwa2ctcGxpc3QNCi0tLSBwa2ctcGxpc3QJMjYgTWFyIDIw MDYgMTU6MzU6MjAgLTAwMDAJMS41DQorKysgcGtnLXBsaXN0CTI4IE1hciAy MDA2IDA4OjA3OjEyIC0wMDAwDQpAQCAtMSw0ICsxLDUgQEANCiBAdW5leGVj ICVEL2V0Yy9yYy5kL2dudWdrLnNoIGZvcmNlc3RvcCAyPi9kZXYvbnVsbCB8 fCB0cnVlDQorQHVuZXhlYyAlRC9ldGMvcmMuZC9nbnVnayBmb3JjZXN0b3Ag Mj4vZGV2L251bGwgfHwgdHJ1ZQ0KIGJpbi9hZGRwYXNzd2QNCiBiaW4vZ251 Z2sNCiBldGMvZ251Z2suaW5pLmRlZmF1bHQNCg== --0-941045622-1143534226=:54268--
