Hi! I've just gotten my FreeBSD 3.3 system running; I created a user account for myself a while back, but have decided I like bash better than sh and now I want to change my default shell to bash. I edited /etc/passwd so that the shell path at the end of my user's line reads /usr/share/bin/bash which is where bash is installed (I installed the package vi sysinstall), but it doesn't seem to be working. I still get sh when I log in. Anybody know what I've done wrong? Thanks! Tim Dixon To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
