Tried to add it from the command line and got: [root@magpie ~]# ifconfig dc0 209.46.51.28 netmask 255.255.255.240 alias ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): File exists [root@magpie ~]# Getting rid of the netmask spec lets the alias be added: [root@magpie ~]# ifconfig dc0 209.46.51.28 alias [root@magpie ~]# And removing the netmask spec in rc.conf makes it work at next boot time. Ideas on why I can't have a /28 alias? S To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
