Dunno about the services, per se. But at home, I have a static /32, and I run my own name server (as well as MTA, Web server, ...). As long as it's not for malicious use, I offer to slave zones as well -- after setting up one slave, setting up another s pretty trivial, and the bandwidth hasn't been a significant issue. I prefer that requests for updates arrive via signed email. Some of the folks whose zones I slave also slave=A0mine, so that works out for everyone. (I currently have 3 slaves, which is adequate for me.) Peace, david (current hat: hostmaster@catwhisker.org) --=20 David H.
