Hi, i thought long about contacting you, but i think it's very important to report this. Today i runned a portupgrade with had the Apache 1.3 included. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- The upgrade of Apache removed the entire /usr/local/www/data-directory and replaced it with the standard apache-test-pages. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------- Okay, it's clear to have some backups, but unfortunately my only backups at this time were in subfolders of the www-data. So i lost all work for the last six months. :-( Ironically the Apache-config-files were not overwritten, only the htdocs were lost. Please change this, i think an upgrade should not affect data-files! What i saw today is wors than any Windows-Software i've ever used.
