Can the freebsd port be updated? Yes, but please be aware that FreeBSD is in a "ports freeze" for the upcoming release of 6.0. Updates which are not security fixes or otherwise critical will likely be delayed for some few weeks, but don't let that stop you from seeking immediate update gratification by submitting the PR yourself. :-) You might also be interested in grabbing this: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=84254 ...which should do good things for the Java support in redland-bindings. -- -Chuck
