This package is useful for astronomy folks -- it's good for looking at image data cubes, movies, that sort of thing. (NOT things like mpeg_play and xv...that's a different thing.) I've been wanting to get it ported so that I could add hooks to the PerlDL port to use it. Just an FYI in case I can capture the interest of some patient port-maker out there.
