The quoted battery life times from manufacturers are always absolute
maximumtheoreticly possible and should be taken with a lot of salt.

I've got the extended life battery (that came with my TR). apm thinks
it'll last 3 hours. With harddisk spindown, etc, I can often get 3.5
hours but it depends on what I'm doing on the machine.
