The standard trick for handling such a situation is to add a build-dependency like this: BUILD_DEPENDS= ${NONEXISTENT}:${PORTSDIR}/biology/ncbi-toolkit:build -- <Insert your favourite quote here.> Erik Trulsson ertr1013@student.uu.se
