FAT == FAT16 You should have a menu just before you get to the fdisk editor allowing you to select which disk to operate on. YOu might check the ALT-F2 debug screen and make sure your IDE disk is being found. The latest glut of Promise controllers don't appear to be IDE-standard-friendly.
