It is saying that it is missing because it is not there. You are
running a NEWCARD kernel with OLDCARD configuration settings. pccardd
is not required for NEWCARD, and should not be enabled with
pccard_enable. If you wish for automatic device configuration, you
will need to enable devd with devd_enable=YES in /etc/rc.conf
