Seems no way :(  When I uninstalled kerberos by reinstalling
'bin' (as suggested in FAQ) - most of /etc/ was "recovered" to
freshely installed system. Restore from backup was only way to help.

Yes, why bin reinstalls /etc without questions and changing
old files to something.bak?
