Hi there,

I have a machine which is permanently connected to the net via a valid IP
address. I would like to set up a second machine which is connected via
Ethernet to the first machine which does aliasing for a number of machines
with IP's in the non-routable tables 10.10.10.*. I know with a dial up
connection and ppp, I can ppp -alias.

My question is
1) can I do a similar thing to ppp -alias using ethernet (IPFW & NATD)
2) would it be easier to connect the two machines via a serial cable and use
ppp.
3) something much better which solves all my problems.

Any help appreciated

Cheers
Craig
