Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I'm still fighting this Toshiba 4010CDT. It seems all the recommended configs either won't compile or won't generate sound. My BIOS says I have this: WSS 530h SBPro 220h Synth 388h all at irq 5 then: WSS play DMA channel 1 Control 538h MPU 401 330h I've tried several combinations of audio devices... when i test them, they say /dev/dsp cannot be opened or /dev/audio fills the screen with garbage and says device full error.
