I have been setting up a FreeBSD 6 firewall using the handbook, everything has been fine until you come to logging to syslog, it looks like FreeBSD 6 has gone back to using local0 instead of security. In section 26.5.7 it says that FreeBSD 5 and above use security for logging, so I assumed that FreeBSD also used it. Is there some way to get this updated?
