First, just to be clear on the source tree, it's 'cleandir,' not 'clean,' # cd /usr/src/sys/modules # make cleandir; make cleandir As for the object tree, how are you building the kernel? Are you doing 'buildkernel?' # rm -rf /usr/obj/usr/src/sys/$KERNCONF Are you doing an "old-style" build? # rm -rf /usr/src/sys/compile/$KERNCONF Try again. -- Crist J.
