See /etc/mail/README (after running mergemaster) for information about possible gotchas with this new version. For more information about the new functionality in 8.12, visit: http://www.sendmail.org/8.12.0.html /usr/src/contrib/sendmail/RELEASE_NOTES and /usr/src/contrib/sendmail/src/SECURITY may also be of interest. Finally, the default /etc/mail/sendmail.cf (based on /usr/src/etc/sendmail/freebsd.mc) no longer uses FEATURE(`relay_based_on_MX').
