The only way to use the IP timestamp option under FreeBSD is to send raw packets (using the SOCK_RAW interface) with either header included (IP_HDRINCL) or by reading and writing the option explicitly (IP_RECVOPTS and IP_OPTIONS). -GAWollman -- Garrett A.
