The installation went fine and I have had none of the problems other people seemed to experience. however now when I start staroffice using $USER/Office51/bin/soffice or /usr/local/Office51/bin/soffice it just reads from the disk a few moments and returns to my command line (starting it from an eterm). I can't find any error messages to explain what it might be doing or any other way to start it. Any suggestions as to how I can get around this would be greatly appreciated.
