I am not sure about this one, but there is some chance that the lib
it is looking for is actually -lglib12 or somesuch on FreeBSD. (Because
ports installs it that way so that multiple versions of glib and gtk may
coexist on the same system. If this the case, you should be able to tell
configure about this. Did you install glib from ports oe from package or
from source? What does your glib-config script say?

This may indicate that either libIDL (part of the ORBit port on FreeBSD)
is not installed correctly or that it is older than version 0.6.3.
Unlikely, the latter one.

Also, it is possible that the mozilla-headers port is not in sync with
the main mozilla port? If so, you can see this by trying the mozilla
port and if that build goes through than we have the culprit.

Note that I have not met these problems recently although I build
Mozilla from CVS every Saturday. Although the last build was slooooooow
as hell:-) But it works.

Hope this helps somewhat or at least some knowledgeable person can help
you more.
