Hi,

Thanks! I can confirm that upstream commit bba7a6c fixes the problem.

I indeed had to replace 'sed' with '/usr/local/bin/gsed' in hostsdeny.conf =
(and
install textproc/gsed) before entries would get deleted upon shutdown or
timeout.
