We're on 5.4 and will move to 5.5 when it is released but 6.0 is regarded as immature (I would be interested in hearing other opinions on that point). I have looked at the kernel sources and see that the 6.0 serial framework has changed. Also I cannot reproduce the crash - it just happened once (once too many). Thanks for the note, though.
