I did installed mysql and apache without any problems. The version I did were: mysql-client-3.23.39 mysql-server-3.23.39 apache-1.3.20 which are all packages from FreeBSD ftp site. When I installed the mode_php4 package, it seems like there is a problem related to the package's archived file. I got a message from compress program. I then try mod_php3. I can install it w/o a complaimnt, but once the machine restarts, it will not load apache automatically. It says one of mysql's library has an unresolved symbol 'strctoll'. Please see the follows for the message at the boot time or when I restart apache. Syntax error on line 237 of /usr/local/etc/apache/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/local/libexec/apache/libphp3.so into server: /usr/local/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.10: Undefined symbol "strtoll" Does anyone has encountered the same problem or know the cause of this problem. Please help and thanks for any advice. Thanks. Ming To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
