After deinstalling KDE-2.1 I'm trying to get 2.2.2 installed. However I've found some problems. Starting with a fresh ports tree, and trying to build kde2 from the meta-port, it failed due to an old libxml (shouldn't that be updated as a dependency?). After solving that one, now the compiling progresses further ahead but then stops with a core dump: (the example is now trying to make kdebase-2.2.2_3 alone) % make clean ... checking for meinproc... /usr/local/bin/meinproc Segmentation fault - core dumped configure: error: /usr/local/bin/kde-config --prefix outputed the non existant prefix '' This means it has been moved since you installed it. This won't work. Please recompile kdelibs for the new prefix. However, i cannot seem to find what port/package installed meinproc so as to reinstall it or update it (... apparently it is not libxml, I haven't found it it its pkg_plist) I've found an old report on the archives, with meinproc core dumping during kde2 build, but that was apparently solved (bug closed). Any ideas? My setup is FreeBSD-4.3p22 (RELENG_4_3). Ports tree was updated two days ago.
