Making world takes a long time. When it fails, it starts from the beginning. I love gmake. I do not grok bmake. I suppose I will have little choice but to start grokking in the long run, but for the moment, I'd appreciate a pointer indicating what I need to do to complete a make world after fixing a broken source file, in a way that honors dependencies.
