There have been a few updates for security problems since 4.3 was released, and if this is a machine that will be connected to the Internet (I'm assuming that is what you want PPP for), you should update your system to have these problems patched. Since updating is described in the Handbook, I'm not going to repeat everything about updating your system here though :) Please, do search for updating instructions at http://www.FreeBSD.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/ There's is a nice page with resources for getting support for FreeBSD at http://www.FreeBSD.org/support.html - you might want to check that too. I hope this helps a bit. Oh, and "welcome to the BSD side of the world" :-) -giorgos To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
