Sorry I was responding to a previous e-mail that indicated I should have it commented out. So I gather it should not be commented out......Anyway after all that, it still does not work. I have this in my /etc/inetd.conf file: ntalk dgram udp wait tty:tty /usr/libexec/ntalkd ntalkd - I have cvs-ed up as of today - done a; make buildworld && make installworld - remade the kernel!!! - rebooted..... - checked the group permissions on the respective ttys are correct "tty" Still does not work !!!!!!!!!!!!
