Has anyone seen this before? I had this happen in an earlier version of this
system ; disks go grind, grind, grind. then stop. Iostat shows 0 tps for
two or three seconds, then everything comes back to life. This happened
when I added a fourth disk to an adaptec 2940UW controller. this is version
2.2.5, fyi.

It almost seems like there's so much I/O on the bus that all of the disks
freak out or something.

Has anyone seen this before?
