Dear FreeBSD port maintainer: As part of an ongoing effort to reduce the number of problems in the FreeBSD ports system, we periodically schedule removal of ports that have been judged to have outlived their usefulness. Often, this is due to a better alternative having become available and/or the cessation of development on the existing port. In some cases, ports are marked for removal because they fail to build and install correctly from their sources, or otherwise fail in operation. The ports, and the reason and date that they have been scheduled for removal, are listed below. If no one has stepped forward before that time to propose a way to fix the problems (such as via a PR), the ports will be deleted. portname: deskutils/nautilus-actions description: Extension for Nautilus to configure programs to launch on files maintainer: gnome@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: nautilus will be updated to the 3.x version which is not compatible with 2.x expiration date: 2014-04-10 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=deskutils&portname=nautilus-actions portname: deskutils/nautilus-locked-folder description: Nautilus plugin that allows you to encrypt the contents of a folder maintainer: gnome@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: nautilus will be updated to the 3.x version which is not compatible with 2.x expiration date: 2014-04-10 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=deskutils&portname=nautilus-locked-folder portname: deskutils/nautilus-open-terminal description: Nautilus extension which allows you to open a terminal maintainer: gnome@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: nautilus will be updated to the 3.x version which is not compatible with 2.x expiration date: 2014-04-10 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=deskutils&portname=nautilus-open-terminal portname: deskutils/nautilus-sendto description: Integration between nautilus, evolution, and pidgin maintainer: gnome@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: nautilus will be updated to the 3.x version which is not compatible with 2.x expiration date: 2014-04-10 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=deskutils&portname=nautilus-sendto portname: net/netspeed_applet description: Applet that shows how much network traffic occurs on an interface maintainer: gnome@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: gnome-panel 2.x will be updated in the GNOME 3 import expiration date: 2014-04-10 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=net&portname=netspeed_applet portname: palm/gnome-pilot description: PalmPilot conduit system for GNOME 2 maintainer: gnome@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: gnome-panel 2.x will be updated in the GNOME 3 import expiration date: 2014-04-10 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=palm&portname=gnome-pilot portname: sysutils/nautilus-cd-burner description: CD burner view for Nautilus maintainer: gnome@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: nautilus will be updated to the 3.x version which is not compatible with 2.x expiration date: 2014-04-10 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=sysutils&portname=nautilus-cd-burner portname: x11-fm/py-nautilus description: Python nautilus bindings maintainer: gnome@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: nautilus will be updated to the 3.x version which is not compatible with 2.x expiration date: 2014-04-10 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=x11-fm&portname=py-nautilus portname: x11-toolkits/libgail-gnome description: An implementation of the ATK interfaces for GNOME widgets maintainer: gnome@FreeBSD.org deprecated because: gnome-panel 2.x will be updated in the GNOME 3 import expiration date: 2014-04-10 build errors: none. overview: http://portsmon.FreeBSD.org/portoverview.py?category=x11-toolkits&portname=libgail-gnome If this problem is one that you are already aware of, please accept our apologies and ignore this message.
