The most talked about change is the removal of rsaref (RSA) dependancies. You can read the changes in the RELNOTES.TXT at ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/releases/i386/4.1.1.-RELEASE/ for more info on other changes since the 4.1 release. There's also the 4.1 directory if you need to back up a little. 3.x is available too, though I'm not sure of it's support for that chipset.
