If the maintainer wants to use github, IMHO it should be the WWW.
But that decision shouldn't trump FreeBSD pr(1) (Bugzilla).

Agreed.

To be fair; I can agree that it would be more efficient to
consolidate such efforts. But I'm not convinced Github is
the solution. Not to mention all the history the FreeBSD
pr(1) system already has for cross reference(s).
