Can you try an "ls -las" - the file should be very sparse. Mind
you, on my opteron:

> ls -las /usr/obj/usr/src/share/termcap/termcap.db
 928 -rw-r--r--  1 root  wheel  1310720 Jun  6 09:53 /usr/obj/usr/src/share/termcap/termcap.db

(Built from sources as of a few days ago...)
