Whenever there is any CPU or disk activity my sound breaks up and beeps ands issues a series of other unpleasant sounds. It happens with both esound and the native OS driver support stuff, like with mpg123. I have tried increasing buffer size in XMMS and mpg123, but it has no noticeable effect. This is incredibly annoying? BTW, it does not do this in windows, so I doubt it's a hardware issue.
