Hi, just that it does not get lost. This is the whole difference I observed: diff -rN config-old/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xsettings.xml .config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xsettings.xml 6c6 < <property name="IconThemeName" type="empty"/> --- > <property name="IconThemeName" type="string" value="Tango"/> By the way, after the switching back and forth, two icons are still missing: Multimedia/Mixer and Settings/Keyboard.
