For some reason (Don't ask me), I had to set the option "longnames" when
mounting my zip disks to get long filenames. I don't use zip disks enough
to know when this change was made, but it was in the last 3-4 months I
think. 

Pretty weird, I always thought longnames were default for DOS partitions
(at least since they were added).
