Then you will have what you need to use your parallel scanner correctly. And, you will receive the gratitude of all of the folks who have a parallel scanner that are in the same boat as you. Sorry, but SANE doesn't support parallel scanners. Many SCSI scanners, some USB scanners, but no parallel scanners that I know of.
