Hm, this would imply that the installation failed or went to a different destination than what you were expecting. Try running `?' from the Boot: prompt and see what you get; you should get a listing of files in the root directory, and one of them may be called kernel.GENERIC. > The current boot default is 0:wd(0,a)kernel and i have tried every > combination that i know of thinking that the kernel maybe on a different > partition.
