Maybe you would want to include your exact syntax of your dhclient.conf file.
You might just want to add the dns servers to your /etc/resolv.conf file statically.

  Okay I am using DHCP with my @home cable modem. DHCP will grab the IP address, the subnet mask and the default gateway, but it will not grab the DNS servers. I have request and require the domain-name-servers in the dhclient.conf but still nothing. Any ideas?
