Well, the FreeBSD license is pretty short & sweet. I'd read what you wrote and if it forbids what you want to do, then you need to re-license it. This is usually done with existing programs using an "either/or" license: either the old or the new one may be used. I'd suggest just adding a "without the permission of the author" clause to the whole licesense; this gives you leave henceforth to make any exceptions for anybody you choose. The exact legal nicities are a little confusing since you previously licensed it under different terms, but since you are the only person with standing to sue and since you are the one giving the permission I assume you don't have to worry about suing yourself, so that simplifies matters.
