You will need to configure and compile a new kernel. You should have
these two lines in your config:
device ed0 at isa? port 0x300 irq 5 iomem 0xd8000
device ed1 at isa? port 0x320 irq * iomem *
NOTE: replace the *'s on the second line with apropriate values...
