I tried reinstalling mpd. I was running version 3.2 before, so I updated to the latest port - mpd-3.8. It crashed again today on schedule. So, recompiling mpd doesn't do the trick. I've killed the mpd process entirely now. We'll see tommorrow whether that prevents the crash. Thanks for the tip. Oliver On Sun, 2 Jun 2002, Karl M.
