FreeBSD will recognize all drives in the = RAID set and the controller as "ar0" I've tested this on SuperMicro 5015M-MT+ server: Chipset Intel 3000 (Mukilteo-2) chipset=20 ICH7R + PXH-V + IntelR 82573V + IntelR 82573L=20 =20 Serial ATA IntelR ICH7R SATA controller built-in=20 I'm not sure if it will work with 5000V chipset though.
