One is a single channel aic7890 and the other is a single channel aic7860. You are expecting the 7890 to be own by the megaraid controller, correct? If so, we have: Vendor: Adaptec Device: 7890 on a Motherboard SubVendor: Dell Subdevice: ???? Based on the above information, the drive has no way to discern it from any other Adaptec controller that should be attached by the aic7xxx driver. -- Justin
